I’ve always dreamed of having my own horse, and Dude is that dream come true. Now, it hasn’t always been a walk in the park—there’s been plenty of blood, sweat, and tears—but it’s all been worth it.

I got Dude in April 2024, and since then, we’ve been working on building our trust and teamwork. After just four months together, we’re clicking like a well-oiled machine. We’re currently jumping 80 cm and aiming to hit 1m soon. Dude’s got a bit of a personality—he loves carrots but absolutely hates cookies. I guess he’s a health nut, just like his mom. And don’t be surprised to find a grumpy pony on a misty Monday morning—yes, I call him a pony. He might stand just under 17hh, but in my eyes, he’s my little tiny pony.

So, what are our goals? High-level show jumping. Give us a few years, and you’ll see us in the ring, riding our hearts out.
